Let me start off by saying that we have some amazing couples who have amazing families and friends. I feel like I say that a lot but it is so true, especially when it comes to Sara & Josh, their families and their friends.

Let’s start off by discussing how Sara and Josh began this journey that led to them becoming man and wife. They met in biology class freshman year of college when they were introduced by a mutual friend. They frequently bumped into each other throughout the first year and a half of college and they would always stop to chat. Finally, after not running into each other for a while, Josh messaged Sara on Facebook asking if she wanted to get together to catch up and that led to their first “date” which was hiking in Athens to a spot called Radar Hill. It went on to become the place of their first kiss and where they got engaged.

How did he propose?

He made up a story about her roommate wanting to hike to Radar Hill one night during her graduation weekend, and then when they got up there it was actually him who had coordinated it and there were candles set up and his friend was there taking pictures as it happened.

Over 4 years later and they are married!

Now let’s talk about their wedding day!

Sara and Josh were married June 2nd, 2018 at Chagrin Valley Athletic Club in Chagrin Falls, OH.  Both the bride and groom and their bridal parties started off the day getting ready in the locker rooms in the Athletic Club. Sara, her mom, and her bridemaids started off their day by getting their hair and makeup done at The Beauty Box. The bridesmaids dresses came from David’s Bridal.

While Sara was getting ready, Josh was hanging out with his groomsmen. Their tuxedo’s came from Men’s Warehouse.

The bouquets, boutonnieres, the flowers on the arch, and the centerpieces were designed by Lowe’s Greenhouse. Aren’t the flowers gorgeous!

Then, it was time for their ceremony. During their ceremony,  her brother and sister-in-law sang them a song that brought everyone into tears.

Their cake was designed by Phil’s Fun in the Oven Cakes. Sara and Josh were very nice to one another during their cake cutting. No cake smash here.
